Grateful to the Canada Council for the Arts for 2 awards Lorne received toward his recent participation in the Directors Guild of Canada DGC National Directors Division Director Observer Initiative.

Lorne first crossed paths with veteran Director, Martin Wood, on a series called Jake and the Kid.

My love for Shakespeare started during my classical theatre training.

I’ve teamed up with Monique Hurteau on a new series: Shakespeare, Sonnets + Such to re-visit his works for the creativity + for the challenge.

Sonnet 18 is the first of about baker’s dozen we’ve recorded so far.

We’ll share more here and on the channel as they come out of the oven.

beyond Corner Gas

A lot of people know Lorne as the cop on Corner Gas and wonder what Sgt. Davis Quinton gets up to since the comedy franchise has closed up shop. Read on for some of the festivities.

Sgt. Davis has LOTS going on outside of Dog River

recent, current + upcoming

Lorne worked alongside a very star-studded cast, and Executive Produced, a beautiful animated short film, Back Hom e Again.

Lorne’s in the cast (as narrator), and a consulting producer, on a fun + SUPER-cute children’s animated series, Mittens + Pants.

…and on the other end of the creative spectrum, Lorne’s the Director and Executive Producer on a dark, dusty feature-length thriller in development….more to come.
